Florin Vasvari is a Professor of Accounting: Chair, Accounting Faculty; Aca​​demic Director, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capit​al​​

Professor Florin Vasvari teaches Distressed Investing and Financial Restructuring, and Private Equity and Venture Capital. He is an expert on the use of accoun​ting information in debt markets and private equity. His debt market research investigates the pricing and the role of accounting information in secondary debt markets. He covers issues on contracting in the syndicated loan market and public debt market, bond analyst and rating agency disclosures, collateralized loan obligations, and private debt funds.

Professor Vasvari is a member of the editorial board of Adveq Research Serie​​s, The Accounting Review and Contemporary Accounting Research​

His work on private eq​uity includes work​ on limited partners' private equity allocations, private equity valuation, and performance measurement, private equity secondaries, and aspects of risk management.​

MaameYaa Kwafo-Akoto is a Partner - Funds and Asset Management Group at Allen & Overy​

She has eleven years of ex​perience advising sovereign wealth funds, central banks, family offices, insurance companies, pension funds, and development finance institutions around the world on their investment arrangements. On a daily basis, MaameYaa advises investors on asset management issues and strategic global and national issues.

MaameYaa is a partner in the Funds & Asset Management practice.​

Her work includes public investments and private fund investments (both cornerstone and smaller amounts), single investor mandates, and co-investment arrangements covering all asset classes including infrastructure and energy, as well as a wide variety of other agreements and financial services regulatory issues. MaameYaa spent time on secondment to a government entity in Riyadh in 2017.​

He is particularly known for his development of innovative Shari-ah-compliant CMA funds and investment structures for real estate and private equity investments in Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E.
